No Frills Option* (costs about $10!)
If you don't want to spend much money, all you really need to make a decent connection is a standard "Y-adapter" cable like the one pictured below.
These simple cables can be purchased for about $10 from your local consumer electronics store.
STEP 1
Plug the stereo 1/8" mini-jack end of your Y-adapter into the sound card or headphone jack of your computer. This is the same jack you would use to plug in PC speakers.

STEP 2
Locate an available jack (Aux, Tape2, etc.) on the back of your stereo receiver and plug in the other ends of your Y-adapter. NOTE: DO NOT USE THE PHONO JACK, as this will cause static and interference.

STEP 3
On the front panel of your stereo receiver, select the mode where you have connected your Y-adapter (Aux, Tape 2, CD, etc).
You are now ready to start listening. Turn on your stereo, fire up RHAPSODY, and enjoy the music!

* Note: this solution works well for the majority of people who try it. However, if you find that sound quality is sub-par, we highly recommend trying one of the other products listed on this page.
